THOMAS RIDER

As our national partners, China offers a greater variety of possibilities to do an internship than the ones shown below. If you are interested in this country, but the internship programmes do not match your expectations just apply without naming a specific internship programme. Together we will find a suitable internship.

PROJECT RED WINGS
China is developing at rapid speed nowadays and people live busier lifes than before, yet they care less about their health condition. Most of the young are overstressed, high blood pressure and heart disease become very common among people above middle age. Most significantly, a majority of individuals know almost nothing about a healthy lifestyle and the correct way of staying healthy. Some of them also have no idea about AIDS and some other severe diseases. Therefore they hold an incorrect opinion. So AIESEC Mainland China determines to help improve the health condition of Chinese people and also with some cultural courses, to provide them a better universal environment and broaden their horizons. To have a larger impact, we choose communities and all activities and courses will take place at community schools. In this way, all the volunteers will also have a more comprehensive understanding of China. Citizen health, HIV/AIDS and community development are the main topics in this project. The Exchange Participants (interns) will work in Community Schools and a Project Team of the AIESEC Local Committee.
